We currently collect and process the following information:

·       Date Of Birth for under 18s.

·       Next of Kin contact details.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

·       We collect the personal information by a Club Member Application form or by completion of an online application through our partner Clubmate. This is done to enable the Bideford & District Angling club to keep a comprehensive Club Members list complete with Next of Kin details. The Next of Kin Details would only be used in an emergency. (Such as Club member taken ill during a Club run event etc).

We will only contact club members with the following reasons:

·       To inform them of Club Organised Events.

·       To inform them of any specific organisational Changes/Issues.

·       To remind of membership renewal.

·       For any Disciplinary reason required through the Club’s rules/Disciplinary procedure.

·       To pass on governing body information as is deemed necessary to benefit the club member

We use the information that you have given us to Contact you through the following sources:

·       Club Application. (APP)

 

We may share this information with all Regulatory bodies.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored via a data base secured by Clubmate. Any paper documents are shredded when the information is added to the database.

We keep the contact details supplied for a maximum of 2 years after membership lapse. We will then dispose of your information by securely shredding any paper or data stored documents.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
